The Mason Fire-EMS Department is in need of new members.
We have lost several people in recent months. We will provide the training needed. This is a great opportunity to help the community. The department has training on the first Thursday of the month @ 19:00 hrs, and the third Sunday morning of the month @ 08:00 hrs, at the fire station. Come on down and take a look, or if you are interested, please call Chief David Baker.

Fire Permits: a written permit is required to burn any time unless the ground is covered with snow - see the Fire Permit Rules & Regulations below.

Permits may be obtained by calling the dispatch center (1-800-562-8201), and they will have the duty officer call you to make arrangements to get a permit.
If you don't hear back within a reasonable time, call dispatch again - sometimes the page calls go astray.
